Project Manager AI

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced AI Project Manager with a strong background in the financial services industry to lead the delivery of innovative artificial intelligence initiatives. In this role, you will manage end-to-end AI projects that drive efficiency, improve decision-making, and create measurable business value across finance operations.

You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, product teams, and senior stakeholders to ensure AI solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with regulatory and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities 🚀

• Lead and manage AI and machine learning projects from concept through delivery
• Translate business needs into clear AI project plans, timelines, and deliverables
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, analysts, and finance stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, governance frameworks, and data privacy standards
• Manage project risks, budgets, and resources while maintaining transparent reporting to leadership
• Oversee vendor relationships and external AI technology partners where required
• Drive agile project management practices and continuous improvement across AI initiatives
• Monitor project outcomes and ensure measurable business impact

Required Experience & Skills 📊

• 5+ years of project management experience, ideally within AI, data, or advanced analytics initiatives
• Experience in the financial services sector (banking, fintech, asset management, insurance, etc.)
• Strong understanding of AI / machine learning concepts and data‑driven products
• Proven experience delivering complex technology or transformation projects
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in finance
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, or similar project methodologies
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology, Finance, Data Science, or related field

Preferred Qualifications ⭐

• Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum
• Experience working with data platforms, AI tools, or cloud technologies
• Background collaborating with data science or machine learning teams
