About the role
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and own complete project lifecycle delivery of structural steel detailing assignments, driving Company’s commitment to precision, speed, and client satisfaction
- Establish absolute clarity on scope, risks, and deliverables by thoroughly reviewing contract Documents and leading decisive project kick‑offs
- Uphold uncompromising engineering standards across geometry, connections, multi‑trade coordination, OSHA compliance, and client‑specific requirements
- Strategically plan schedules and optimize resources to ensure predictable, on‑time, and high quality execution
- Enforce stringent engineering governance through structured review of inputs, model checks, and client comments before release
- Institutionalize disciplined RFI management ensuring clarity, technical accuracy, and proactive issue resolution
- Drive seamless coordination with architects, MEP teams, connection designers, joist and precast partners to eliminate execution bottlenecks
- Ensure strict adherence to AISC codes, fabrication and erection best practices, and Company’s internal QMS standards
- Deliver constructible and commercially sound detailing solutions that enhance fabrication efficiency and site performance
- Act as the face of Company to clients – leading discussions with confidence, managing expectations, and building long‑term strategic relationships
- Proactively manage change orders to safeguard commercial interests and ensure smooth design revisions
- Ensure adoption of in‑house productivity tools and updated detailing technologies
- Resolve conflicts effectively while fostering strong team collaboration and alignment
- Build, mentor, and scale high‑performing teams aligned with Company’s DNA – fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and leadership development
- Drive succession planning and people development strategies within the team
- Demonstrate strong leadership by exemplifying organizational values and professional standards
Key Skill Requirements
- Expert in AISC codes, fabrication methods, and erection practices
- Advanced proficiency in Tekla, BIM, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and detailing technologies
- Proven experience handling commercial, industrial, bridge, stadium, oil & gas and miscellaneous steel projects including precast and tilt‑up coordination
- Strong problem‑solving skills related to structural steel detailing
- Expertise in architectural and multi‑trade coordination
- Good commercial awareness with experience in managing change orders
- Strong planning, scheduling, and resource management abilities
- Confident client handling skills with excellent communication and ability to lead meetings effectively
- Proven people leadership focused on performance excellence and team development
- Strong commitment to quality standards and continuous process enhancement
Our Requirement
- Specifically, we are looking for Senior level candidates with experience in steel detailing related to commercial and structural building projects such as Bridges, Stadiums, Warehouses, Commercial Structures and Large Industrial Projects.
- We are not looking for candidates whose primary experience is in Oil & Gas, refinery, or pipeline‑related detailing projects.
- Working Standards: Preference should be given to candidates who have strong exposure to US market projects and are familiar with AISC standards.
- Candidates who have worked extensively with US clients and are well‑versed in American structural detailing practices will be highly suitable for our requirement.

- BE/B.Tech – Mechanical/Civil
