Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models and algorithms to address complex business challenges, such as predictive modeling, recommendation systems, and anomaly detection.
- Analyze large, complex datasets from various sources, identifying trends, patterns, and actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and other data scientists to define project requirements, design experiments, and implement data-driven solutions.
- Clean, transform, and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and suitability for modeling.
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Perform statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and A/B testing to validate model performance and business impact.
- Communicate complex technical findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through visualizations and presentations.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, and evaluate their potential application to our business.
- Mentor junior data scientists, providing guidance on technical approaches, best practices, and career development.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the company's data science platform and tools.
- Ensure the reproducibility and scalability of developed models and solutions.
- Develop and manage documentation for models, methodologies, and data sources.
- Proactively identify opportunities to leverage data for business improvement and innovation.

Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in data science or a related quantitative role, with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions.
- Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, deep learning), and model evaluation techniques.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and SQL.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong data visualization skills using tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
- Experience in leading data science projects or mentoring junior team members.
