About the role
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Risk Analyst to join our team in Switzerland. The successful candidate will identify, assess, and monitor financial, operational, and business risks to support strategic decision-making and ensure regulatory compliance. You will work closely with internal departments to develop risk mitigation strategies and improve overall risk management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and monitor business, operational, financial, and market risks
- Conduct risk assessments and prepare detailed risk analysis reports
- Develop and implement risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures
- Analyze data and trends to identify potential risk exposures and mitigation opportunities
- Support regulatory compliance and internal audit processes
- Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and prepare risk dashboards for management
- Collaborate with finance, compliance, operations, and senior management teams
- Assist in business continuity and crisis management planning
- Prepare presentations and reports for stakeholders and senior leadership
- Stay updated on Swiss and international regulatory requirements and market developments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in risk analysis, financial analysis, audit, or compliance
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, or other analytical tools
- Knowledge of risk management principles and regulatory standards
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Fluent in English; German or French language skills are preferred
Preferred Skills
- Experience in banking, insurance, consulting, or corporate risk management
- Familiarity with Basel regulations, IFRS, or enterprise risk management frameworks
- Knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools
- Professional certifications such as FRM, PRM, or CFA are an advantage
