About the role

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Risk Analyst to join our team in Switzerland. The successful candidate will identify, assess, and monitor financial, operational, and business risks to support strategic decision-making and ensure regulatory compliance. You will work closely with internal departments to develop risk mitigation strategies and improve overall risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and monitor business, operational, financial, and market risks
  • Conduct risk assessments and prepare detailed risk analysis reports
  • Develop and implement risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures
  • Analyze data and trends to identify potential risk exposures and mitigation opportunities
  • Support regulatory compliance and internal audit processes
  • Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and prepare risk dashboards for management
  • Collaborate with finance, compliance, operations, and senior management teams
  • Assist in business continuity and crisis management planning
  • Prepare presentations and reports for stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Stay updated on Swiss and international regulatory requirements and market developments

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in risk analysis, financial analysis, audit, or compliance
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, or other analytical tools
  • Knowledge of risk management principles and regulatory standards
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Fluent in English; German or French language skills are preferred

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in banking, insurance, consulting, or corporate risk management
  • Familiarity with Basel regulations, IFRS, or enterprise risk management frameworks
  • Knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools
  • Professional certifications such as FRM, PRM, or CFA are an advantage
