About

Toronto-based contract opportunity with a major Canadian enterprise client in a highly regulated, data-intensive industry. You'll be joining an established technology team supporting critical production applications across Azure, Power Platform, and AI/ML environments. This is a contract role with potential for conversion to full time.

This isn't a ticket-pusher role. You'll own the stability of business-critical applications, running L2/L3 triage, root cause analysis, and long-term fixes that actually stick. The environment is heavy enterprise: batch processing, scheduled jobs, data feeds, middleware, Azure infrastructure, Power Platform workflows, and AI/ML models running in production. You'll work directly with business, engineering, and support teams, which means you need to hold your own with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike. If you've built and deployed models on Azure, lived in Power Apps and Power Automate, and know what it feels like to own production rather than just react to it, this is the kind of role where you'll genuinely have impact. Strong mentorship, exposure to modern enterprise AI workflows, and a team that prioritizes quality over fire-drills.

Contract Duration: 6 – 12 Months + Potential to full time conversion afterwards

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years of production/application support experience in enterprise environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including deploying and supporting cloud-based applications
  • Proven experience developing and deploying AI/ML models on Azure (not just supporting them post-deployment)
  • Hands-on experience with Power Platform, specifically Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Demonstrated ability to lead L2/L3 incident triage, root cause analysis, and long-term problem resolution in a batch-heavy, data-driven environment

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Middleware experience with MQ, WebLogic, or Informatica
  • Exposure to enterprise integration environments and hybrid cloud architectures
