About the Role
As Deputy Head of Corporate Accounting you will co‑lead the accounting function and ensure that our financial processes are reliable, transparent and future‑oriented. You will work closely with all members of the accounting team, act as a deputy during absences, and collaborate with the CFO, Tax, Projects, Controlling and HR to maintain high‑quality financial statements and advance accounting processes. You will also contribute to the digitalisation of the finance area, introducing modern technologies—including AI—into our workflows.
Responsibilities
- Co‑responsibility for monthly and annual financial statements of the company and its national and international subsidiaries (OR, preferably Swiss GAAP FER), including preparation of year‑end statements for audit.
- Ensure an efficient, high‑quality closing process and analyse and prepare accounting data for the CFO, Controlling and HR.
- Properly process complex business transactions (e.g., M&A, capital increases, mergers, share transactions, etc.).
- Responsible for reporting packages to the group, quality assurance for consolidation and implementation of Group Accounting Policies.
- Collaborate with the Lead Tax Accounting and Projects teams.
- Address governance topics in accounting, especially Internal Control System (ICS), accounting policies and memos.
- Control and approve payment runs and support liquidity monitoring and planning.
- Develop accounting systems and processes, implement projects from the CFO roadmap, and drive digitalisation and AI integration.
Qualifications
- Higher education in finance and accounting (e.g., expert in accounting & controlling, certified public accountant, FH/University degree or equivalent).
- Several years of experience in accounting, preferably in an international environment.
- Very solid knowledge of OR, ideally also Swiss GAAP FER.
- Experience handling complex transactions such as M&A, capital transactions, mergers, share deals.
- Strong closing and process reliability with a pronounced quality mindset.
- Proven experience with the ERP system ABACUS and interest in finance digitalisation and AI.
- Structured, team‑oriented work style combined with high initiative and responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English; French is a plus.

Requirements
- Höhere Ausbildung im Finanz- und Rechnungswesen, z. B. Experte/in Rechnungslegung & Controlling, dipl. Wirtschaftsprüfer/in, FH/Uni oder vergleichbar
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Accounting, idealerweise in einem internationalen Umfeld
- Sehr fundierte Kenntnisse im OR, idealerweise auch Swiss GAAP FER
- Erfahrung im Umgang mit komplexen Transaktionen, z. B. M&A, Kapitaltransaktionen, Fusionen, Aktiengeschäfte
- Hohe Abschluss- und Prozesssicherheit sowie ausgeprägtes Qualitätsbewusstsein
- Fundierte Erfahrung mit dem ERP-System ABACUS und Interesse an Digitalisierung und AI im Finanzbereich
- Strukturierte und teamorientierte Arbeitsweise kombiniert mit hoher Eigeninitiative und Verantwortungsbewusstsein
- Starke Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Deutsch und Englisch, Französischkenntnisse sind ein Plus
Responsibilities

- Fachgerechte Verarbeitung komplexer Geschäftsvorfälle (z. B. M&A, Kapitalerhöhungen, Fusionen, Aktiengeschäfte, u.d.g.)
- Verantwortung für Reporting Packages an die Gruppe, Qualitätssicherung für die Konsolidierung sowie Umsetzung der Group Accounting Policies
- Zusammenarbeit mit dem Lead Tax Accounting und Projects
- Berücksichtigung von Governance-Themen im Accounting, insbesondere das Interne Kontrollsystem (ICS), Accounting Policies und Accounting-Memos
- Kontrolle und Freigabe von Zahlungsläufen sowie Unterstützung bei Liquiditätskontrolle und -planung
- Weiterentwicklung von Accounting-Systemen und -Prozessen, Umsetzung von Projekten aus der CFO-Roadmap sowie Digitalisierung und Integration von AI-Lösungen
