Senior Data Scientist

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are a cleared federal contractor seeking experienced Senior Data Scientists to support a National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Analysis Office at the NCE (Springfield, VA). You will operate independently at a senior level, designing and implementing scalable data processes, building visualizations, and delivering analytic insights that directly support an active intelligence mission.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement scalable processes against large, complex datasets to surface trends, patterns, and analytic discoveries.
• Develop production-grade Python solutions in support of GEOINT analytic workflows.
• Translate analytic findings into clear, operationally usable visualizations integrated into daily mission operations.
• Manage multiple concurrent analytic projects across varying stages of implementation in a high-tempo environment.
• Collaborate with intelligence analysts, data engineers, and mission partners to operationalize data products.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
• Senior-level proficiency in Python with demonstrated mission-ready solution delivery.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing scalable processes for large, complex datasets.
• Background of intelligence experience providing analysis and/or data science directly supporting an intelligence mission.
• Ability to operate independently at a senior level with limited oversight.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver visualizations integrated into daily operations.
• Familiarity with common Intelligence Community (IC) data repositories.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with low-code/no-code analytic platforms (JEMA, Brewlytics, ArcModel Builder).
• Familiarity with ICD 203 (Analytic Standards) and ICD 206.
• Prior NGA or GEOINT mission experience.

PAY

$125,000.33 - $200,000.00 per year
