About the role

About Senacor

Are you passionate about innovative technologies and advanced data analysis? As a Data Scientist at Senacor, you don't just use statistical methods: you develop data-driven models and algorithms, analyze complex datasets, and seek excellent solutions for data-intensive challenges with modern tools and technologies.

Individual coaching at eye level, flexible working hours, and team spirit. That's what we value.

We have offices in Berlin, Bonn, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich, Nuremberg, Vienna, and Zurich. However, due to our hybrid work models, you can also work from any other location in the DACH region.

Your Tasks

  • You support our clients with their data projects – from conception to implementation
  • You analyze, visualize, and interpret complex data to identify relevant insights
  • You are responsible for ensuring data quality through effective data preparation/manipulation (Pandas, NumPy), data visualization (Tableau, Matplotlib, Seaborn), and processing of various data formats (tables, images, text, graphs)
  • You design and implement machine learning models to solve complex problems, selecting and adapting appropriate algorithms
  • You work closely with your team and coach junior team members

Your Profile

  • You have a completed degree in economics, physics, mathematics, or a comparable field of study
  • You have at least 3-5 years of practical experience in Data Science or related fields
  • You are proficient in data preparation, analysis, manipulation, and visualization, and have programming skills (Python) and experience with SQL
  • You have an excellent understanding of graph and machine learning algorithms (Random Forests, Boosting, Support Vector Machines, Neural Networks, Deep Learning), as well as mathematical modeling (statistics, time series analysis, network analysis, etc.) and have practical experience with relevant libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow/Keras, PyTorch, JAX, XGBoost)
  • Your high level of initiative, teamwork skills, and very good German language skills distinguish you

Your Benefits

  • Work how and where you want. Flexible working hours, home office, sabbatical, and up to 20 days of workation in EU countries
  • Home remains home. Start customer trips from your home in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland – without moving to a Senacor location, but with a higher expense allowance and an all-round carefree package
  • Compensation that convinces. Attractive salary with benefits such as a company car, JobRad, subsidy for the Deutschlandticket and childcare, as well as company pension and 30 days of vacation
  • Career that develops individually. Quick assumption of responsibility, individual coaching, further training, and programs like the Talents Program
  • An office to feel good in. Modern offices with weekly breakfast, feel-goods, free drinks, game consoles, literature, and an open door for dogs and children
  • Experience more together. Various events, after-work offers, initiatives, communities, and networking formats
  • Additional offers make life more beautiful. Corporate Benefits, courses for your work-life balance with voiio, and state-of-the-art IT equipment – also for private use
