Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of machine learning and AI solutions in the areas of production, logistics, research & development, and robotics
• Conception, training, and implementation of AI agents based on modern tools (e.g., Copilot Studio, AI Foundry, OpenAI APIs, Azure AI Services)
• Data organization, preparation, and modeling using methods of statistics, machine learning, and generative models
• Analysis and interpretation of complex data patterns – recognizing correlations, trends, and optimization potential
• Creation of reports, dashboards, and presentations for visualization of analysis results
• Participation in interdisciplinary industrial as well as research and development projects
• Creation of technical concepts for industrial customers in the AI / Machine Learning area
• Support in the identification and evaluation of new AI technologies as well as co-design of innovative prototypes and proofs of concept

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or comparable qualification, preferably with a doctorate
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI projects
• Experience in the development and integration of AI agent systems (e.g., with LLMs, RAG, Copilot Studio, LangChain, AI Foundry, or similar frameworks)
• Knowledge in the field of robotics, automation, or control systems is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of statistics, data analysis, and programming (e.g., Python, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow)
• Experience in creating technical concepts and project proposals based on customer requirements
• Analytical, conceptual, and solution-oriented thinking
• Enthusiasm for new technological developments and a high thirst for knowledge for continuous self-development
• Independent, structured way of working and team spirit
• Fluent German and English skills
