About

How much energy do our customers need with the electric vehicle to get from A to B? This is our overarching question. In the field of range management, we work on the concept design, development, testing, and release of the properties of our future sports cars. Based on energy prediction, the current remaining range can be displayed, charging stops can be optimally planned, and functions for demand-oriented increase of the perceptible range can be developed.

During your working student activity, you will gain comprehensive insights into the working world at Porsche, have direct contact with vehicles, and support us in subsequent projects and activities.

What awaits you?

• Support in the planning, execution, and follow-up of test and trial drives for validation and data generation
• Support in programming and applying Data Science methods (data preparation, structuring, provision, and visualization) to real data from the vehicle
• Assistance and evaluation of the overall vehicle simulation using common and data-driven methods
• Participation in the further development of a continuous and efficient simulation workflow in the context of modeling, data, model, and result management

What distinguishes you?

• Studies in vehicle technology, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, technical cybernetics, computer science, or a comparable degree program with a corresponding focus and programming experience
• At least 5 semesters of study experience
• Knowledge and experience in the field of vehicle technology, data analysis, computer science, or modeling and simulation desirable
• Confident use of Matlab/Simulink
• Knowledge of Python desirable
• Ability to abstract and analytical thinking
• Driving license class B
• Independent and structured way of working
• High team and communication skills
