Your Role

We are developing a platform that makes AI usable in the medium-sized business sector – concrete, scalable, secure. As a Data Science Working Student, you will support the development and operation of our AI solutions: from data preparation and evaluation, through feature/embedding logic, to models that function reliably in workflows. No "model for the sake of the model," but measurable benefit.

Your Tasks

• You will support the development and evaluation of AI modules (e.g., classification, extraction, ranking, forecasting – depending on the use case).
• You will build and maintain data pipelines for training, testing, and monitoring (data quality, versioning, reproducibility).
• You will develop measurement and evaluation logic.
• You will work closely with engineering, prompt engineering, and architecture to integrate models cleanly.
• You will contribute your own ideas – and help transfer prototypes into robust product components.
• You will think not only in models but also in user logic and process impact.

What You Bring

• Studies in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Informatics, or similar.
• Solid Python skills and experience with common libraries.
• Interest in LLMs/Embeddings/RAG, vector databases, or NLP – initial projects are sufficient.
• Pragmatism and quality: You build things that work and measurably improve, not just demos.
