Software Test Automation Engineer (Analytics & GUI)

About

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer with a strong focus on analytics tracking automation to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy, reliability, and consistency of analytics implementations across digital platforms through automated testing and validation.

Key Responsibilities

• Automate testing of Google Analytics / Tealium tracking
• Validate events, parameters, data layers, and network requests
• Implement analytics automation using Cypress or Playwright
• Collaborate closely with QA, developers, and Module Owners on tracking specifications
• After completion of the analytics project, focus on GUI test automation with Ranorex
• Maintain stable and maintainable automated test suites
• Document test cases, results, and tracking standards

Requirements

• Experience in test automation for web applications
• Hands‑on experience with Cypress or Playwright
• Understanding of Google Analytics and/or Tealium tracking
• Ability to validate analytics beyond UI (network calls, payloads)
• Solid knowledge of web technologies and browser DevTools
• Structured and reliable working style
• Strong problem‑solving skills and analytical thinking
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Experience in the cruise industry is a plus
• Fluent in English and German

Nice to Have

• Experience with Ranorex or similar GUI automation tools
• CI/CD integration experience
• Experience with tracking specifications and analytics documentation
